You had all those yummy cylinders to play with. Only had 3 cars with more than 4 pots. Rover P6 V8 (needed a mortgage to run it) Triumph Stag & Audi A8 called the 'barge'

For a short period I also had a Rover P5B 3.5 Coupé - with a Webasto roof. 2 tone blue and grey. Lovely car.

Just think of all the cars you owned - chopped in or scrapped. Even the obscure are now silly money - Escorts, Capri, MG even Viva. Let alone your first Yamaha FS1-E

A mate of mine had a Capri 2.8i in 1987 and loved it. He was always going on about what a brilliant car it was. Twenty years later a car dealer mate of ours turned up in one so he could take it for a spin.
He came back after 15 minutes to announce it was the biggest pile of shit he'd ever driven! How things move on!

Here us my secret most favorite car:
Alfa Junior Zagato (they built them as 1300 and 1600)
When I was 18 someone in Southtyrol offered me a white one with black leather for 2.000.000,- Lira
At that time that was about 2000,- Reichsmark ;) which I did not have.
When I came back 4 months later with the money, the car was sold (it had been sitting in the garage for 1 1/2 years since the owner had passed away and the widow could not decide on what to do with it...)
Today, you pay 45.000,-€ upward for such a car in good condition...
