If you've got something like an America or Speedmaster with the indicator warning lamp in the tank you'll know how easy it is miss the warning light and leave the indicators on. Even after the best part of 40 years riding I still forget to switch the indicators off now and again. Not very often but even once in the wrong situation could prove a disaster.

I just fitted one of these and it works! The light is extremely bright and difficult to miss.

Just got it gaffa taped to the underside of the speedo until I can think of a better way of attaching it. A fiver is a small price to pay for something that could save my life one day.

Seems to be a good idea although I fitted extra bright LED conversion to my idiot lights which works

The problem with the America is that the lights are in the tank so no matter how bright they are it is more unlikely you'll see them.

Why Triumph can not have indicators that cancel after a certain distance is beyond me

Self-cancelling indicators? Blimey, you'll be expecting tubeless tyres next

I made my own using green led cut to about 2" then placed in a clear plastic tube hot glued either end to seal them in, i then fixed two platcic pipe clamps to the inside of my screen in line with the top chrome brace. They work great.

My Bonneville has a Acumen Tempest alarm fitted (by previous owner) and its set up to give warning beeps if the indicators are left on. Works a treat, but the beeps increase in volume quite quickly which can be a bit annoying if you're waiting on a right turn.
