W.r.t. the Cat D damage, the bike had been dropped, so light cosmetic repairs had to be made to one side.

    Hi there,
very interesting! Where is the bike, how's the service history and have you made any modifications to it?
    Thanks!

The bike is in Coventry, West Midlands. No service history came with the bike. I performed an oil change as a precautionary measure. The only mod I've done to the bike is to fit a fly screen (see below). However I plan to sell that separately.

How can a one year old bike not have a service history. Is it not logged with Triumph?

The bike is indeed on the Triumph service register. The service record is below:

McDeryl, are you open to open to a reasonable offer? If yes, I'd quite like to come have a look at the bike with a pocket full of used £20 notes.

Depends what you mean by a 'reasonable offer'? ;)

Tbh I can't move much on the price, as it's already very 'reasonable'.

I know when selling a bike or car price is a sensitive subject, but with it being a. a private sale; b. Cat D I have to agree with DD. You're asking £5600 which, imho, is at least £1000 too much.

Anyway, the very best of luck with your sale.

Street Twins with similar mileage are going for around £6.5k. Mine is £900 less. That's fair imo.

I'm wondering if it was stolen / recovered, with some damage?

Sorry mate but after being badly stung some years ago with an RS 2000 there is no way I would buy your bike. You are not giving any specific details of the Cat D damage (if you don't know okay) but the guys on here are very savvy about what's good and what's bad. A kind of smell a rat here and hope that you haven't had your fingers burnt by a scum dealer! However if (hope I'm totally wrong with this) you are trying to shift a nail you got the wrong forum.

    Yo DD,
I here where you're coming from that's exactly what I was trying to put across. The bike looks fine on the pics but for me I would want to see evidence, photos etc of why such a newish bike was a Cat insurance job. As an ex bike salesman I would want all the details before buying HPI definitely. I fully realise how insurance companies work regarding claims as in "must be genuine Triumph parts fitted" but to Cat D or C a bike so new raises questions for me.
This is just my opinion I do not mean to point fingers or accuse anyone .
