Hi all, went down to Total Triumph Taunton yesterday and popped a deposit on a 2014 Speed in white.

Arrow cans, evotech tail tidy and some black evotech levers too.

First Triumph after starting my career Honda > Kawasaki > Suzuki, can't wait to pick it up!

    Hi mate and welcome
    Nice bike :)
You might want to paint it BLACK  though because it’s a better colour and makes you more popular :p

You went to Taunton from Oxfordshire...you must have really fallen in love with that bike :)

FYI there is a Triumph dealer off J7off the M40 (Thame) - "Hughenden M40" - Speak to Bruce in service - he is a good chap and very knowledgeable

Hi all, thanks for the warm welcome! White is definitely the best colour as it makes you look like a stormtrooper.

Also I went down to Taunton as my dad knows a bloke there! I did have a look at Hughenden but they didn't have something in my budget that caught my eye!

Found another picture of it - levers and tail will be changed by the time I collect, I've ordered some R&G bungs and a Denali soundbomb mini for it as well as the fitting kit for my ABBA stand so I'll be already for next weekend to do some work!

I think the screen might come off for a bit to see what I prefer too.

R&G bungs are good, I have the Triumph frame sliders fitted and to be honest I am quite disappointing.
they look good, but they are hollow and designed to 'crumble' in an impact.
Spindle protectors, LED indicators, bar end mirrors and a Scottoiler next:D ?

The Denali Soundbomb Mini sounds like a worthy investment, I have the split system and it is vital.

Its a gorgeous bike, you will; be very happy with it.
I am just a couple of junctions down the M40 from you, so maybe the possibility of meeting up in the summer for a weekend ride?

Yeah I did look at the Triumph sliders but they didn't look great to be honest - R&G is always a good way to go.

After I'm done with the backlog of stuff on order I'll be looking for some bar end mirrors I think, then LED indicators definitely!

It's going to be a long week waiting for Saturday.

Yes sounds good, I live out towards Burford way, some great roads out here - a friend of mine is about to pick up a Striple RS too so sure he would join us.
