Yes you can see the C is a 0, the stamping had more pressure on the left so the right side of the 0 is less visible. Well done crispey, top knowledge.

How do you think I should proceed to get them road worthy and get honest fair prices. They are on English plates but in New Zealand.
I assume that they are not totally original as the speedo on both are at 1 mile and 108 miles.

Not quite sure what that means,
Presently I am not trying. to sell them.
    They are not mine.
I am here to help someone who is fading.
Shipping a pair of bikes back to the Uk v Re-registering in NZ would seem like a dumb move.
If I would need to re-register I am pretty sure a collector in The US or Australia would be a more sensible move. Half the distance in shipping costs...See my point?
I know nothing about this stuff but I also went to school. and math would still be math.

Quite honestly, to collectors or anyone that would want these the roadworthy aspect is not a big deal, especially auction wise, time and labour for getting them roadworthy might cost more than the difference in value, again get someone from an auction house to give an estimate to get an idea.
Thanks for that but it was more finger power, turning pages, than brain power!!

Hello Justin, assuming the odometer readings you quote are correct, these two bikes could be really quite valuable on the international stage, so don't worry about incidentals such as British registration. You need to a find an international auction house who can help with values and possible sales.

Here's a list of a few to get you started :

Contact them and get advice 'from the horse's mouth'.
