Just been to a place to look at a few bikes that a chap wants sold What I wasn't expecting is how many of the bloody things there were, 8 Kawasaki KZ1300's, 2 Suzuki GT750's and a very early Honda Goldwing!! There is a couple of very tidy ones there and a few rough ones but the best one i think is the 76 GT750 which looks reasonably good Some of the KZ1300's were also rather tidy but I'm going to have to do a fair bit of research to figure out what they are worth. Anyway if any one has any contacts or suggestions that would be a great help Cheers Stephen
The GT750 & at least one of the Z1300s are crying out to be cafe racer styled  Single seat look with pillion seat hump, small rear lights, bit of chrome or the blacked out look, either gets my vote & a set of ace bars with bar end mirrors?
Just been doing a bit of ringing around tonight and think I have already got a buyer for the Goldwing and possibly the good GT 750. may also be able to shift some of the Z1300's with a classic bike sales in the South East as he has contacts in UK as well as Europe. Think the black Z1300 at the bottom of the last post is the one I would go for if I had the space and money. Anyway here are a few more photos of the bikes.
Not sure didn't really pay much attention to apart from noticing that it had a really stupid snake skin seat all I know is that the were brought in the States and he has got a load of them but wasn't asked to look at them to sell. And as Father Ted used to say 'I'm not really into that sort of ting'
Ok the bloke who owns the bikes also wants to sell his choppers I know bugger all about these things apart from that they were built in the States and I have just found one of the engines on E Bay http://www.ebay.com/itm/S-S-CYCLE-1...EVO-HARLEY-WRINKLE-BLACK-FINISH-/160973321753
You Def need to find a custom chopper shop to get them priced...I'm guessing £10K+ each....or close... that market is not a cheap one.... Custom Motorcycles - Home
Thanks SB I will give them a call tomorrow, this is more or less a market I know very little about so it's a bit of a step into the unknown. There were also some rather nice classic american cars as well so I took a few photos of them as well.
Man that's some serious cash in that garage... i would spent the afternoon on Google looking for some dealer or a auction house specializing in custom & american cars.. that would be his best bet.. I know a couple of dealer (Cars not drugs) so could ask them if they could suggest something. But how much does he want for the standard Blue charger? what a machine...
The cars aren't for sale I just thought they were worth taking a photo of as there are some nice ones there Be honest SB, you just want the charger so you can paint it orange and stick a confederate flag on the roof and 01 on the doors
