    So I have the Arrow 3-2 exhausts fitted new by the dealer; I noticed when I got the bike home that the right exhaust doesn't fit all that well, by that I mean you can wobble it quite a lot and it doesn't appear to fit well into the link pipe (definitely the Arrow link pipe), it's almost like the push fit design I flawed and it needs springs. I mentioned to the dealer and he said yeah they are all like that, took me outside to show me his personal bike and sure enough, one was loose albeit the left side. So my questions; does anyone have a solution to this? Seems crazy that the Arrow quality lets this happen, is there a trick to correctly aligning? I have take all the fixings off to try and refit but every time I get the same result, when you tighten up the clamps it pulls the exhaust out of the link pipe by a few millimetres. Frustrating!

    I have two sets and both the right joints are loose, I think the technical term is a cock in a sock.

    Sounds like a production problem with the fit between pipe and can. Fitted them myself to my (earlier) '94R, very close fit and solid feel with no wobble. Just had to slacken bolts and tweak to get dead symmetrical later when I fitted Givi pannier frames (removed 99% of time).
    Might be worth insisting dealer reports the fault to Triumph? Something's obviously gone wrong with Arrow's tooling for latest model.

    I completely agree. Given the retail cost of the Arrow 3-2 cans it's not right IMHO opinion that the fitment is not great. They are fantastic exhausts and go with the bike great but you would expect them to at least fit properly. When all said and done it's not going o fall off as the hanger attached to the actual exhaust is fitted to the subframe but as there is effectively only one point of attachment the exhaust 'wobbles' as the join between the exhaust and the link pipe is naff.

    Interestingly I have just come across this and if my eyes don't deceive me in the US they are fitting clamps over the exhaust/link pipe connection (0:31 and 0:38). Coincidence?

    If you're not happy (and you obviously are not) I would suggest you reject them, get a full refund and stock pipes refitted. It's the only way Triumph might actually do something about it.

    To be fair, I am not overly impressed but I do really like the cans as they were the ones I chose over the others that are available so most likely will grumble but keep them. I have asked the dealer to take a look to see if they can improve the alignment which they are doing next week else I may look to see if I can source some decent stainless/titanium clamps that will I think improve things. Like I said, it's not like they are going to fall off just wasn't expecting Triumph/Arrow quality to be _on this occasion_ this average, but I can live with it.

    that's poor and unexpected for the price of these cans i would have expected much more,my akrapovic on my zrx1100 and the gpr on speedy have small tackwelded brackets that the springs hold end cans and link pipe together fit like a glove for much less than the arrows,I wouldn't accept the (they are all like that) reply feedback to dealer and maybe something positive will get done.

    I've just fitted the arrows to my 2016, and it took a bit of fettling. At first they were very loose, I found by slackening off the clamp (main exhaust to link pipe) also the support bolt (by left side rear foot peg) and the silencer bolts (better off removing them actually)
    Then move link pipe away from main exhaust and tighten, then refit, push silencer firmly into link pipe.
    Your my have just worked loose.

    Hi I had these cans fitted from new and mine are solid no movement fron any area of the cans or pipe, in fact I have just swapped them for a low level set up and they were very song to get off, I'd go back to shop if I were you

    I noticed mine wobbled a bit when cold if you grabbed the end can and give them a shake left to right , ive since secretly wobbled a few in show rooms and they all seem to have movement , they're well secured and don't rattle but
    I couldn't live with the movement and after stripping panels off to check everything ok - rubber grommets ok and in place I tried a couple of bodges , not happy with results so in the end bought these

    Just open them fully so no need to split silencer and
    position clamp bolt behind silencer and
    tighten till happy ,
    careful when sliding clamp over your shiny pipe though (halfy halfy nice n tighty )

    I have mine (right hand side) with a slight wobble as well.
    Not to worry, but I agree that it is somewhat questionable for a premium product.

    Update.

    I sent an email to Triumph Customer Services just asking if they had heard of this issue before. they came back saying absolutely not and the set I have must be out of tolerance. Further, they have trial fitted a new set in the factory to test bike to confirm fitment and sent them to my local dealer for FOC replacement under accessory warranty. I should be having the new set fitted sometime next week.

    After fitting my Arrows (no baffel), I didn't notice any difference in the running of the bike (except for sound)
    Did anyone have yours remapped, if so did you notice any difference?

    Not a huge difference, possibly slightly smoother on throttle pick-up from closed. Mostly peace of mind knowing it's on the correct map intended for the setup. (but that's on a 94R, would be different if you have the latest model)

    Edit:
    Have always run the Arrows with baffles removed, so probably more important to run the correct map.

    There's a specific map for the twin arrows, the dealer will have it and should install FOC. Ask when you go for service. Mine came with twin arrows so I can't tell you if there was a difference before and after, except that I modified my baffles by cutting the closed end off and drilled several more holes near the exit to let more gas escape. It does feel slightly more crisp and sounds lovely, kind of halfway to what it sounds like with the baffles out, lots of popping etc. on a closed throttle when blipping on downshifts.

    Update.

    Took the bike into the dealer this afternoon to have a new set of Arrow's fitted that had been sent down from Triumph HQ (and allegedly test fitted to a bike to confirm the fitment was correct) and guess what, they are worse that the original set. The original set had a nice solid fit to the left pipe but a loose right pipe, this set had both pipes loose.. The service manager and I looked at three different Speeds in the showroom and each one was difference i.e. one had a loose left pipe, one a loose right and the other both were practically falling off. It would seem there is a clear quality issue with these; its now back with Triumph HQ to look into further and propose a way forwards, meantime I have my original set back on..
