I don't know about anybody else but I felt as though I was being tipped forward onto the handlebars on my tiger,I tried adjusting the seat and the bars but it just felt like I was always tipping forward so the other day I got some XC bar risers and the difference is very noticeable.......just thought it might be worth a mention cheers.

Never felt I was being tipped forward onto the bars on the Tiger - different story with the Street Triple 765 loan bike though!

Made these for my old bike, just fitted to new. Made from 25mm square ally.

No, It was the slow way with a grinder drill and file. Maybe I will get my apprentice to do some.

Hi all. I am new here, great forum!

I bought a 2018 Tiger 800 XCx, love the bike. One thing that is a little uncomfortable is the riding position, I feel like I am leaning forward too much. SO I bought the ROX 2" risers but the cables (clutch mainly) were a little too short and in order to make it work the cables were stretching too much. I went for a short ride and it made a huge difference. Then I decided to remove them so I don't damage any of the cables.

Has anyone had the same problem? Any suggestions?

    Cheers!

I rotated the bars back slightly and it made a huge difference. Don’t do it too far though or the cables rub on the tank on full left lock.

I'm not sure but doesn't the XC already have the taller factory risers on so would you need to remove these before putting the ROX risers on I fitted ROX risers to my Tiger XRx and have no problems with cables but the road version doesn't have the taller factory risers fitted

I've just purchase MF Vario bar risers. I've used previously on a Tiger 955i and Hoda Crosstourer. They are really good and have an additional 10mm insert meaning that you can raise the risers from a standard 40mm rise to 50mm. I noticed that the handlebar position pitches you forward which is a little uncomfortable for me on longer journeys being 6'4.
Next i'll be either adapting the lower MF Vario foot pegs to fit that I removed from the 955i or buying new to fit!:)
