It's the big day tomorrow.. it's like getting married... scrub that comment it's like waking up when you're six on Christmas morning.. except I know what I am getting... just insured the bonnie £246.00 full comp via Padgett not bad I reckon.. I will post a few posing pictures when I pick her up... excited... yeah..
Well chaps the deed is done.. collected the bike today.. at 3pm only just got home after dodging rainshowers and following apache of blue sky.. To be honest if it had been properly dry I may still be out.. it's my late mums birthday today so in her memory I have called the bike Brenda.. Getting to the bike .. one word. Brilliant.. absolutely brilliant. The noise the smooth power after the little 125 is awesome. Tootles happily along in traffic at 20mph then on the open road open her up and with a growl she's off.... still keeping below 4K rpm as I need to run it in.. and keeping in mind the new tyres need scrubbing off.. Suns coming out again.. where's my helmet.. put up a pick don't know who the old fart is by the bike though.. hehe
Lovely mate, enjoy her! But I hope that's not a "polite" hi viz you got on there, posing in one of those in a pic on this forum is akin to posting that you went to boarding school!! Expect a bit of pee taking
Thanks boys. Been made to wear a hi biz by the wife.. it will be ditched at some point but for now best keep the lady happy..
I am touched - so should you be. I had a blazing row with my wife the night before I flew off to the first Gulf War. Apparently I didn't have enough Life Insurance!
