    Greetings all,
New to Triumph but not to bikes.Just got the Street Twin and loving it! Ran it in, on the 'Return to the Island' Fest,on the lovely Island of Bute, where it surpassed all my expectations.I also ride a Moto Guzzi Breva 750.
The Street Twin is a totally different machine and I look forward to finding out more about it and reading the members experiences too. DSC_0013.JPG

Ha, it rained quite heavy for a wee while, but once we got off the ferry the sun shone until Harthill... the rain capital lol;).Sunshine all the way home after that.

Quite possibly but I have been laid up this past 10 having knackered my back. Just about recovered........
I take it your other vehicle is a Stag? Velvet upholstery?

A bit late, but welcome aboard lexy. Great little machine, the Street Twin. Took me round Scotland a few weeks back.

Hi. Change at first opportunity. It 'tramlines' on road 'patches', 'seams' and raised 'white lines'. I ride mine just about upright around bends- emphasising counters tearing. Works for me. Try 'trail braking' on sharp l/hand turns, because of gear ratios of the 5speed g/box. Fitted fox shocks. Found front forks not up to scratch on uneven surfaces. Tyres worn out at 6k. It's a great bike though because of its torque response.
