Any other new Scrambler owners noticed how little available adjustment there is on the chain ?
It looks like the adjusters are virtually all the way out from new.
Ir's not just mine, all the new pics show the same thing, might have word with the dealer next time I'm in.

I adjusted my chain today and yeah It seems like they are pretty far out, but it feels like I could still tighten that chain to zero play if I wanted to. I wouldn't sweat it.

The one I had on demo while mine was serviced was the same, is the chain too long to start with I wonder.

Has it got anything to do with the Scrambler having longer suspension travel therefore needs to be set slacker, when on the side stand - I believe the figure might be 35 to 40 mm?

I didn't pay that much attention to how far the suspension traveled but it didn't seem excessive, what I did notice was that the chain adjusters were at about 75% of their range like it had one or two links too many? The bike had only covered 1800 miles.

Sorry mate, the point I was trying to make is that IF the longer suspension travel requires more chain slack (when checked on it's side stand) then the adjusters will be more forward.
