Salutations from Super Hot Dallas, Texas. I am new to the Triumph mark and this Forum, but not new to moto world and riding. At 57 years young, I have ridden since 12 with no crashes, but many scares from cagers. My favorite bike is my new '17 Triumph Speed Triple R (named Stella) with any and all OEM and aftermaket options/upgrades. Comfort, style, quality parts, fit & finish, refined and awesome looking to me. Other bikes at present: 1988 Honda Hurricane CBR 1000F (bought new, named Ming Ming) 2004 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Matt Mladin Limited (bought used with 1000 miles after 2 years, named Lilly)
Hello RB and welcome to the Triumph Asylum - I have a feeling you'll fit right in....................
But a weird choice of names. Ah well, Nursey will be along soon to allocate a nice comfy cell and with extra padding on the walls and a beautiful close fitting straight jacket 'cos methinks they will be needed sooner rather than later. Anyway, welcome to the madhouse, Mr. Red Baron.
Funny that I never named any of them. My baby girl did, as she saw me riding when she was growing up and the names stuck. The Speedy my wife named, because she said it reminded her of a star. Stella = star in Italian.
Welcome Roter Baron! I am so glad to hear you are safe and sound in Texas. Someone told me, you got shot down over northern France a couple of years back but I knew that was just propaganda! Oh and by the way: How are John and Elvis? Have a great time on here Cheers, Daniel the Ungerman
I think admin is working on this: we have a technical problem of unwanted multiplying on here! Maybe we should consult a priest!?
