Oil light started flickering on last Monday, a minute before getting home. Checked my manual and it states not to turn over in case of damage to engine. Checked oil seemed fine, topped it up a tiny amount (shot glass amount). I remember when I had battery problems previously the same light would come on so plugged in the trickle charger and left over night. Tuesday was fine, no light on my journey same with Wednesday.

Thursday it started flickering a minute away from work, got to work - oil level was fine and I left it for 10 hours, rode home with no light. Friday & Saturday was fine, however today (Sunday) riding home I got to the top of my road and it started flickering on, I pulled up and put it in neutral -- whenever I gave it any revs it would go off, then flicker back on when revs dropped.. any ideas?

Running temperatures is normal, no sounds or knocks, rides smoothly, oil and coolant levels are fine.. I believe it's a faulty switch but curious if anyone else has suffered this? I've read other posts, but none mention when given revs the light goes off.

Bike is coming up to 20k miles (30 off), Speed Triple 1050 - 2005. Since the first time the red light was seen last Monday I've covered at least 150 miles.

Yeah 200%, only two lights - engine management & oil pressure (granted both can fault for a list of things) but even confirmed it as the oil pressure from the 12 year old manual. Any clue where the switch is located or what's needed to remove/replace?

Scanned my Haynes but couldn't see anything, will look again mind.

Yeah, it's a strange one -- I found out this light was triggered by battery issues on other forums/maybe even this but can't find anything triumph official to confirm this. (Had found 6-7 threads online) stating the above, not sure if someone originally got it wrong and the information was reused or if it's true, but I did have the same fault when I had electrical problems in the past.
