Hi guys and gals im from Durham in the northeast had a five year break from bikes after a heart attack but since coming back im on my third Triumph and the best to date a new T120 Bonneville I am also the northeast regional contact for the Hinckley owners club
We don't got no local Region round our way Ash, and to be honest I haven't checked to see what distant one I might have been linked to. I did volunteer to help organise something covering our neck of the woods e.g Eastern Region and organised a couple of HTOC ride-outs out of Pure Triumph Woburn to try to generate some interest. But I'm also a committee member of Oakley Motor Cycle Club and apparently that's a no-no cos of previous disruption from committee members of another club (TOMCC I guess) has left you guys a tad wary. And I'm only a recent paid up member. Fairnuff. When I can find the time I'm gonna organise another ride-out and see if someone is prepared to step forward. Btw, check out the GMU threads in the Lounge section. TTF meet up 21-24 July just down the road from you (Kielder). Getting on for 40 of us have a weekend pass from the asylum. Even if you can't make the whole weekend (bunkhouse and camping on site and boarding nearby) you could come along for one of the day rides and promote HTOC.
