America Screen Reflection And Lack Of Vision On Indicator Light.

Hi Guys and gals, anybody sorted out the issue of screen reflection in the sunshine from the tank chrome console? it sits very nicely in your eye line.
Plus viewing the indicator repeater in the sun is also is also very hard to see.
The whole chrome panel could do with a dark shade over the front half the panel. Bit like a light tint visor material.
Interested to hear you comments.

I agree that idiot light in the chrome console are very hard to see in daylight / bright light. I think some peeps have upgraded to LEDs which are much brighter / easier to see.

I'd be interested to hear of any solutions too!

 

Hi, I have just read a thread on this forum that informs me a member has added 2 extra repeater lights, 1 either side of his speedo. There are some pictures to view and a link to the lights. I have now placed an order for similar lights. Good idea. You would have to make a nice bracket which is easy to do.

Painted my centre console satin black and agree the idiot lights are shite and in the wrong place
This is something I plan to put right in the winter but may involve changing the tank if I can find a suitable one at the right price(cheap or cheaper)

 

I said I would get back to you all, Screen solved, new Dart Fitted. The indicator repeater in the tank which cannot be seen, I now have 2 additional ones fitted as in the picture. No problems now.
