I've a Daytona 955i though haven't put many miles on it in 13 years. This year I'm trying to fettle it to suite my small statue. If I fail, I will be looking for another triple with a lower seat height.
Hi Hydrophobic Membrane Plenty of short arses on here who will help you mate. Little Ade or Tigcraft for a start.
How do I measure a short arse? North-South, East-West, or diagonally? (I have to find out about mine, you know...) All I know is: my arse goes quite well with my bicycle-spoke arms! I think my parents ordered the upgrade-kit: 'Featherweight Café Racer'. It also comes with long and extra fast legs and an aerodynamically optimized and sleek thinking-centre.
Thanks all The bike was an impulse bid on eBay. It was late Friday night, beers were involved and the auction was ending Saturday morning. It put a bid on and thought I'd probably be outbid. I liked the look of the bike and the triple motor, but hadn't done any research on it. I've never felt comfortable on the 955i like I have on my other bikes. Always felt I was perched on top and struggled to get it corner quickly. Great in a straight line and loved the motor. Fast forward 13 years, my circumstances have changed, and I now have the time to see if I can fettle it to my liking!
EXCELLENT! Thank you so much. I knew, I could rely on you guys when it comes to profound knowledge... But I will use my ballpoint-pen instead of the pencil; They call it the 'Spacewalker'! It is much thicker.. eh.. accurate!
Well. Now, that is strange. The writing on the wall does not show a number like 74 etc. It looks more like letters. But there must be a spelling mistake. It says: Hard Ass Isn't the word 'hard on' ??? (I must try again in German!)
I thought our crayons were for marking, drawing on and colouring in on the wall. Then, if Nursey likes what has been done, we get extra, or possibly industrial strength meds. Or have I been misled?
Hi & welcome from a fellow newbie based in Hampshire, 3X will be looking after my bike so will venture to Dorset for services etc.
