Looking to buy my first Triumph and would appreciate your advice on these two..

10 plate street triple R with 12k miles at £4.5k in black and only mod is a tail tidy. Only has part service history.

    Or

10 plate street triple with 12k miles at £4K in scorched yellow, tail tidy and quick shift fitted. Also only a part service history.

Is the R worth the extra £500? I'm kinda heading to the R because of the colour..

Fully adjustable suspenders and radial brakes on the R which seems to my limited knowledge of Triumph to be good value at £500 more

If you can afford it then go for the R.
Just make sure the 12K service has been done,it's expensive.
Which ever one you choose I'm sure you'll enjoy it,they're a cracking bike .

Took a look at the R today, nice but not great. Turns out the previous owner (3rd owner) is local to me, he confirmed valves not done whilst he had it. Dealer tried to blag it when I rang back and offered £100 off.

Unlikely to get a Triumph now as I've justed put the deposit down on a Ducati Hypermotard
