Rattle At 2500rpm

Hi Meldy and welcome in. Did you really mean to write that, 'cos you don't sound like you're enjoying it ?

 

Camshaft lateral movement maybe or camchain ajuster just on the point of ratchet to next notch.

 

If it's a new bike it's under mfrs warranty so let the dealer sort it out Meldy.

Keep a keen ear on the noise, it may be that you are just getting used to the bike, but it could be that something isn't just right.
As biglad said, it is still in warranty so dont hesitate to take it in if you are unsure.
Try and listen to another new Speed S if you can for comparison, better still test ride one at another dealership.

 

And keep yer revs up a bit more..................

 

Keep the needle pointing at between 9 o'clock and 10 o'clock, that's the way

 

I had an insane rattle..... was hard to place.....engine exhaust??? Then I located it to the glass in the mirrors. The revurb was seriously loud! Glue had come unstuck. Replaced under warranty.

Incredible to think it made more noise than the bike
