    I'd like to know too.

I've a 12 plate Thruxton, although it's done less than 10k and the tyres still look like new. Previous owner might of had them replaced at some point.

Tyres are tubed, just put Avon Roadrider's on mine and they're good, beware the first 50 miles though!

Im going to jump in here if you dont mind: got a puncture today and decided its time to change out the OEM metzelers!

Anyone got experience riding a bonnie / thruxton scrambler on nobbly tyres like conti TK80 or Karoo 3 alikes....

I understand they wont perform like roadrunners but im going for that aggressive styling but not over safety of handling

    Thanks!

Done a few days review now and although my heart wanted some nobby tryes a compromise of 50/50 i think should do it.

So Metzelers Tourance i think is best option: anyone with experience of these?

    Arggghhhh

Got tyres fitted today and come across a problem

Seems the wheels clashes with screw from mudguard and almost out alignment true centre. I did think this before but didn't pay much attention until ive increased size and its now been exaggerated.

    Spacers incorrect?!?
