Looking forward to my first ride out on my 2007 tiger and it wouldn't start. battery ok but added jump leads from merc sprinter and all that I get is a click from the solenoid. Any suggestions? The bike has 20,000 miles and has been well looked after by previous owner but has been standing a few weeks before I bought it. Help while the weather is nice

First place I would check is the starter motor relay. If it's not working correctly you'll never start the motor no matter how much juice you try to force through.

If you have a plastic golf tee you can drill a suitable sized hole in the relay case, then manually operate the relay with the tee. That will show if the problem lies with the relay or not.

Thanks, checked the relay and there was a bad connection from the relay to the starter motor.

Yes had first run yesterday, did about 50 miles two up. Its a big bike so I have got a 40mm lowering kit from Lust Racing to lwoer the rear and will lower the front by the same amount
