Ok, so I am picking up the new Speed Triple R (grey) tomorrow morning. I have had the quickshifter and power socket installed (for the heated vest, but let's not go there again). So now I want to get some more bits of bling, because it fun spending money on a new bike - right?

The budget at this point is open. I know I want a low pipe but don't know what type, I've heard the Arrow is quite loud and as it does away with the cat etc. it is likely to fall foul of the local police. I'd rather a pipe that was quite short (stuby) and not too loud, a carbon slip-on would be fine - looking for a recommendation here. Also I will probably buy an evotech tail tidy. So that is the full extent of my ideas.

I'm generally not a patient person, plus I could do a whole load of research and still come up with the wrong options - so I thought I would put it out there. Can you please let me know what accessories you have bought for your late model Speed Triple that you absolutely and unreservedly love... and stuff that you bought that you regret. Looking forward to compiling a shopping list!

I thought the R version comes with full Ohlins! Wouldn't it be better to 1st set up the professionally and if still not satisfied then ditch money on suspension upgrades. Just my two cents ;-)

As Red Thunder said.....priority would be to sort the handling 1st

I had K&N filter then swapped it for OEM filter. Don't know why I did that but she is running sweet.

I did bar risers, tail tidy with integral turn signals, K-Tech front suspension for my weight (valves, pistons, springs) and have a Maxton GP10 on order for rear shock. I chose the SC Projects low mount can and it is perfect for me. This is on my 2016 S.

    Decisions decisions decisions!
Well I have settled on a few additions - thanks for everyones' input.

    • The aforementioned power jack for my beloved heated vest - fitted.
    • Triumph heated grips - fitted. I must say that although the grips look fine the switch unit is a little underwhelming. It looks like an afterthought that they gave to the work experience kid.
    • SC Project high mount oval carbon cans - ordered
    • Sharp wheel centre stand - arrived and in use.
    • Evo Tech tail tidy - yet to be ordered - want to confirm that it will play nice with the SC Project cans.
    • Brake and Clutch levers - yet to be ordered - I saw some on this forum that I want to order. Just need to look them up and order them.
The only other thing that I can think of that I may need is a holder for my Galaxy Note 4 so I can use the GPS - any ideas?

Evo Tech works with the SC cans as they are shorter than all the other cans :)
