    Yes he absolutely will not sell it to me!, despite much pestering & exorbitant offers :), I’ll just have to make my own, the tank seat units are £1300, donor bikes are cheap enough so I suppose it’s the only option, the older I get the less I feel like doing more builds though :(, one issue the bike does have is range, the small ally tank that sits under the fibreglass bodywork is only good for 60 miles!, maybe a hidden aux tank with an electric pump would be the answer.

    Ha, I had considered a leather side pannier with a gallon container in it but there’s always that thought of a crash being followed by a huge fireball :-0

    Nice one. My late friend Neil had an original Hurricane, I was lucky enough to ride it once. It was something else. That's a really good replica, my congratulations to the builder. :)
