That is bad news mate - big disappointment after the anticipation.
One thing though -the weather is Shiite now but it should be better in March!

 

Funny, a guy that delivers our milk from the farm up road has been keeping me informed of his purchase, as he new I used to have one (old type!) and only this morning he said that they landed in the UK yesterday and triumph York said he will have his by next Wednesday.

 

If Carlsberg did bike dealers ... @dilligaf chose the wrong one! York isn't even that far from our Dilli

Gonna put it off until 1st March though as that’s when the new registration plates are issued and it can have a bearing on second hand values
Plus I wanted to make a rack for it to go to Welsh Wales and might not have time

 

That's you, dilli, ever the pragmatist! Actually, I do think that building up the anticipation makes the "big day" all the sweeter, especially when it's you making the delivery date choice rather than the dealer. Glad things are moving along with your the Rocket 3 preparations and acquisition!

Nudger will be pissing himself, don't be surprised if he decides to break down in the heavy rain a few times over the coming few months

 

How unbelievably cruel Dilli , I expect Nudger just got over being left alone & scared in the dealers , now you're gonna pick him up & start using him again , he will think you still love him & that he's just been on holiday for a while ...

There’s more to it than that Billy, after he got over his abandonment issues Nudger sidled over to the sales desk in the middle of the night, looked for the R3 order with Dilli’s name on it and shoved it through the shredder.

Spoke to Avon Motorcycle director again today but he says definitely nothing to do with the tyres on the delay.
I wonder if they are nearly (finally) ready to install the Bluetooth GPS etc software and holding off for that?

 

In fairness to my dealer I put Kevin on the spot last week by saying I needed a bike for over the Christmas
Told him that if I couldn’t get the Rocket this week or next week then I would put off until the March and would be back to pick NUDGER up
He said that he couldn’t 100% guarantee that I would but thought my bike had a good chance of being in the first batch because I agreed to take it in December
Promised to let me know as soon as he found out and true to his word I got a phone call from him this morning saying my bike was not one in the first batch
I’ll be pissed off if the delay is down to this bloody blue tooth malarkey

That actually brought tears to my eye, Billy. I feel so badly for Nudger.

 

It is a very emotional subject, only last year Dilli was declaring his undying love for Nudger, only to cast him aside as soon as the latest super model squeeze came along, poor, poor Nudger, cast aside and left in the dealer, then he will be all happy again as Dilli collects him, uses him (#Dilli ultimate love rat!) fully knowing that come March he will breaking poor Nudger's heart again
