A yellow weather warning is in place for the North of England on Monday until Tuesday lunchtime, including the cities of Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Huddersfield, with a projected 50mm of rain - a little under half the monthly average for March - due to fall.

Localised flooding and high winds are expected. Authorities suggest as much as £3.75 worth of damage could be done

I use an app called Darksky for weather related observations
Very user friendly, accurate and you can set alerts if rain is coming your way

We have a flood warning in place.

I feel sorry for you lot if we do get flooded, seeing as we're 400ft above sea level.

Not been bad in Cheshire today. Couldn't take advantage as had other pressing requirements today. Still looks like Wednesday and Thursday could be weather for a ride :)

Has anyone ridden under the silver glow of a full moon
I did once when I went to University and there was a hazy knee high mist over the road, it was very surreal and mystical, when I got home I turned round and did the route again...best ride ever so far

I once rode home off nights with a full moon while snow was still on the ground. I could see across the fields for miles when going over bridges. It was quite beautiful, and the memory has always stayed with me.

It's absolutely blowing a hoolie and lashing down tonight. Twice my bins have blown over, I've picked them up once, they can stay down till the morning now. I hate the wind..... and it hates me. :worried:

Forcast is for a soaker here in the California desert today. Just got one 2 days ago. No curbing or drainage provisions out here so it does not take much rain to turn the whole thing in to a lake. Think I'll stay in the garage and putter around at the workbench. ...J.D.
