Update in Ireland we are on Red alert. Full shut down until 3pm tomorrow, Only a few of us manning the phones so busy organising the aftermath. Main course is coming....- 5 at the moment wind is just starting to get up with small snow showers .
Good spot! No, that was the dog dragging me off my feet and indicating that if I thought WE were going for a walk in that then I WAS pi***ed! The camera does not capture high speed horizontal snow and a bitter, biting wind.
Made the mistake of riding in to work this morning when the conditions seemed tolerable. Nearly had a coming off when the back of the bike went all wobbly on me turning at the unsalted White Horse T Junction in Husband Crawley. Andy at work had the same experience. Neither of us saw another bike on the road this morning when we normally see lots - sensible folk, unlike we two.
FWD can be even worse. I got my wife chains for her Jazz but my keenest regret is selling my Forester Turbo 6 months ago because I was barely using it.......
Yes you'll be missing that just now I'm sure. Never mind... this'll disappear as fast as it came and we'll have the bike out again soon.......... he says
Honestly? The Forester never makes the grade in UK mags but in North America and Australasia it is highly rated. Go figure the probity of the journo relationship and think emissions scandals. Pound for pound it was the best car I have ever owned.....it just suffered from a Scotsman’s thirst! Unfailingly reliable, durable and a complete q car.
Had a 2005 Subaru Legacy, one of the best riding/handling / reliable cars I've ever owned, alongside the Mazda MX5 & the Honda Accord. Spot the theme
