Used the code and it worked! Thanks smilinjack! £15 for the pair! Bought h4..... hope it's the right fitting!
I bought nightbreakers for my car, from a reputable supplier not risky ebay. Excellent light I must say, while they lasted, but both bulbs blew within a short time of each other. Would I buy them again. No, and deffo not on my bike.
I am sure you know this, but for those that don't Always ensure the bulb is clean when fitting, dont touch it with your skin as the grease will stick to the glass and when the bulb heats up it will form a hotspot which can lead to a premature failure Use white spirit to clean the bulb when you take it out the packaging, and then use a very clean cloth or tissue to put it in the holder
I never touch the bulb, I used cotton gloves, havent cleaned them with white spirit tho. Useful to know
My car uses H4 bulbs and when I repaced one, there was an image of a fingerprint burn onto the glass and a small crack. My bike too uses the H4 Osram Nighbreakers, had them on for best part of a year (15,000 miles) and still going bright.
hi. try not to go for the higher wattage bulbs. they can get very hot as there is no air venting to the rear connectors of the bulb. ive had wires melt using high watt bulbs.
