And to the spineless audience, you can be injured or killed doing a lot of things. If you can’t play the game go back inside.
well.. you are the one that can't play the game and ask the spineless audience assistance to help Anyway, I'm happy you're still there and show us those mods! Or buy a Speed Triple that already got enough power for everything
Do you really have to be so gratuitously offensive and insulting to people - many of whom have actually assisted you - with almost every post you submit to a forum that you, presumably, wish to remain a part of? Actually, that's a rhetorical question in every sense of the expression. Calm down; grow up; kick back; ease off. Or just go elsewhere?
The latter would be preferable as he won't be getting any assistance from me! And many others, obviously very THICK skinned to come back after being so insulting! obviously wearing his.....today.
I had a Street Twin for a day when leaving my Speed Triple to be fixed ( a recall) and I have so say it was a brilliant little bike. First thing I did was to try and figure out how to kill traction control (TSC) and tried to get the front wheel wheel of the ground. I ain't no wheelie expert but it was a bit tricky and a lot harder than the speedy. Since I haven't really become comfortable changing gears while doing a wheelie id say it was more of a front wheel lift off for a bit than a wheelie that I achieved. Also, i'd say you need to use the clutch (at least I had to) cuz there isn't enough power to do a power wheelie. Great bike tho, dead simple to drive and great seating position. The Speed Twin seem to be a lot easier judging from videos.
I tried juggling a running chainsaw once when a stepladder topped, ended throwing it as far from the scene of the accident as possible
ODA, no-one is impressed with juggling just the one chain saw mate. Follow Sage (not an adroit name given his comments as he clearly isn’t wise) Craver NMRET’s example and go wild or you just aren’t trying hard enough. I was looking up what NREMT meant... I am not sure anyone has included their ‘qualifications’ before as a name. Given the majesty of our membership I’d think he’d be trumped (bad choice of word these days) by several MBE’s, OBE’s, MD’s, PhD’s, Masters and Bachelors - that’s not including those truly awesomely gifted with practical skills in engineering, artistic design and the list goes on and on. We have a eclectic mix of amazing people. I respect all. Frankly people work hard for their qualifications. If they are successful then in certain circumstances it is appropriate to advertise them. My wife however doesn’t sign off an email with a friend with LLB and don’t get me started on mine. I have always found bragging about things as crass or pretentious. I don’t think anyone here would be impressed with a NREMT or whatever that is...
After getting 6 month testosterone implants in December, every couple of days I wake up in the middle of night propped up on the kickstand.
He seems to have locked his profile and deleted his avatar.....do you think he got the message and has gone off to play hard ball with the good old boys.
I sincerely hope so, TD. I know, I know ....... none of us is forced or obliged to read his posts but I really did think he might just calm down a little and react sensibly to the obvious 'words of advice' that he was getting in response to his tiresome tirades. A small part of what he was doing - and I don't mean the "power wheelies" - MIGHT have been of interest to others, but his puerile response to any implied derogation of his aims and means was more than a little bit offensive. If he's still here, let's hope he's maturing quickly. If he's gone - thanks for all the fish!
