Featured Touring Trmcc Agm 2020

With our club AGM in Nelson NZ, we are having some good rides to share.
Day1:

 

First gas stop Te Kuiti, after some great twisties

 

Leg2 through our National park to the carrot town of Ohakune

 

Leg3 to Levin Cosmopolitan club for well earned lager and a small meal

 

Due to the cold winter and hot summer most of NZ carrots are grown there. Many towns in NZ have a statue for what they are known for - carrots

 

Last North Island leg before taking overnight ferry to South Island

Day2: good sleep on the Ferry.
Phone cord fried and flattened the battery, but ramp made for jump start



Breakfast at D.A’s was magic at Picton



Nice coffee Captain’s Daughter at Havelock

 

Too early for our room, so we looked for a lager
Found a microbrewery Sprig and Fern

 

Well done. A wonderful outing with a happy ending.

 

End of day two had North Island defeat South in a tug-of-war and nice local seafood with steak and patties for burgers. Units are nice
Got to see a TFCR3 in the flesh with a guy who I have ridden with on his old R3 and he is in love.

When I was over there in 2001 I passed through Sausage town. I must say the sausages were tremendous

 

Day3: Bit slow after last night organised leave from camp



Breakfast at the Rutherford was plentiful with a coffee cart for real coffee

Club AGM is legal requirement as a NZ nonprofit organisation. TRMCC fund raises for St. John Ambulance and Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

Haha! nice one Duck. I had no idea how to pronounce it, so I just called it sausage town...... I have a great imagination.

 

That looks a great journey Dartplayer, I can't wait for the rain and wind to stop, and our summer to start, so I can get out for a ride. I'm sure I'm starting to get rust.
