lads is there a spot for pics / info / banter for these models only.I know thunderbirds tt legends are all similar , do we jog along withe these boys ?
Yes ! I mean no ! Right, this is what I mean. I ride a Thunderbird Sport, which is the fourth in the Thunderbird, Adventurer and Legend series of T3 bikes. They are not called Tridents, and they don't fit in either of the four slots in the Sportsters and Roadsters section. Arguably, the TBS could, but also arguably they are all 'Standards'. I don't see them as cruisers. So, I support the OP's request, and I suggest putting a 'Hinckley Classic Triples' slot in the 'Classics' section for us. If you peruse the RAT forums, you'll see that many riders of these bikes think that they are the best bikes ever produced. While they don't excel at anything in particular, they do cover a great many bases very well indeed, and are a design that Triumph should be proud of. Please give us a home !!!!!
My goodness - that's putting me on the spot ! If you separate the Thunderbird, Adventurer, Legend and Thunderbird Sport family into four models, each thread will get fewer entries. On the other hand, there are several instances of models grouped on the forum. For example, the Trophy, which even groups 3 and 4 cylinder models together. Then the Legend is approaching a touring cruiser, while the Thunderbird sport is approaching a sport tourer. They do share an engine and frame though, while the Adventurer rear subframe is a little different. I'd be happy to have them together as a Hinckley Classic Triples family. From a maintenance and parts point of view they are very much a group.
Mate, aint worried about where it goes just need to find it.Similar engines give more answers to probs s:upyeah I just need a good area to look in to cut down time / frustration thanks
