Tiger 800 Tiger 900 Rear Hugger?

Any recommendations ? I would prefer good protection over Good looks.
And why is there not a Tiger 900 prefix?

 

I got the mounting harness for hard panniers, this have protected the rear a couple of times

 

I have thought of one for my RP but it would need to sit quite a long way from the tyre so it wouldn’t get clogged up with mud etc when off road. I’ve not bothered because of this.
I’ve asked why no 900 section but never got an answer. Perhaps there aren’t enough of us.

 

I went with a Pyramid model for my 850 Sport. Plain black, but I'm painting mine gray to match the colors of my bike.

 

I got one of these as well for my 850 Sport. Not overly impressed with the mounting, or the lack of protection to the rear shock, but better than nothing...
