Tiger 1050 Dash Issue

    Hi, have just purchased a 2009 Tiger 1050 and also have a 1982 TR7T Tiger Trail.
    can anyone help........the LCD dash is not very bright and also fuel gauge not reading suddenly.
    Also I have a Alarm blanking plug supplied with bike and yet no Alarm fitted!!!!!
