    Well, my Indy says I need it, but finding the right map is tough. In the meantime, he installed Iridium plugs and that took a lot of the buzz out.

    Far be it for me to question your Indy but when I bought mine from a Triumph dealership I got them to fit the short TORS, which they did and no remap was needed.

    However when I had it decatted then the standard 12 minute reset was required.
    12 minute remap is-
    1. Start your bike without touching the throttle.
    2. Let it get to temperature without touching the throttle (until the fan comes on)
    3. Let it idle for a further 12 minutes....DON'T TOUCH THE THROTTLE :laughing:

    This will allow the ecu to do an adaptive learning cycle thus automatically remapping (google is your friend) as per the Triumph directive ;)

    Hey, thanks for that. I've installed tuners on a number of my bikes and haven't ever noticed a difference. I think I'll yank it.
