If I didn't know better, I'd think the Tbird was built exclusively for me. What a fine machine! Between it and my T120 I'm at the top of the mountain. Walk softly and carry a big stick comes to mind. They both idle like a Vespa but when you twist that throttle, the power is wow!! Put the Guzzi and Victory up for sale as the Triumphs are all I ever wanted in a bike. Smooth, quiet power. The Tbird develops quite a shiver at 3k rpm so I think it needs a throttle body sync, but other than that it leaves me wondering what else could you want in a motorcycle.
TBirds we’re the favourite ride for our club until the R3’s came along. I grew up where the Tbird triple 900 was the best bike on the road (closely followed by the Norton Commando)
It is definitely my favourite ride, just has everything I need for a day to day ride Edit: Still need pictures though
Thunderbill Welcome to the family. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates the bike. Joe.
Thunderbill That is one cool machine love it. The inmates will do to as black is one of the favourite colours here in the asylum. And that's Black as Black. Love it again. Cool bike. Joe.
Ya, love mine too. They take bit of fiddling with some simple but fussy maintenance items, but the over all package one bang on. Before you take it in to balance the tb’s, (or you can do this if you’re clever and buy a little hardware and a tuner app), check the tubes to the MAP sensors under the fuel tank. They get old and don’t seal. Replaced mine with surgical tubing and made all the difference. welcome and good luck FLynstone
My Indy checked the tubes. They're fine. He says the bike is running too rich, so switched to a better plug (Iridium)
Thanks. Do they require a tuner? My bike has a a Power Commander and my experience with them is they cause more problems than they help. I would like to remove it.
