Sad to see that place go, loved taking a ride through the forest for a look around.

Never got on with Three Cross. Found them arrogant. And told them before they would need me before I needed them and when they closed their doors I would give a big cheer. Wish I could find the email I sent them
    Regards
    Joe.

Yes everyone knows them differently. My face just didn't fit at the time. But I had dealt with them and was disgusted at the attitude I received.

I had to email triumph UK just to get a test ride as they didn't reply to my emails. With in hours 3x were on the phone. One chap I dealt with was a bit of a knob, but if the franchise goes down the road, I suspect the sales and mechanics would follow.

That's a shame, nice ride out for me and always a good reception. Test rode the Bobber and Street Cup from there.

Always used to call in there when nearby, but did notice the last few visits there was no where near the number of visitors/customers around compared with when I first started going. Damn them for taking me out on my first ride of a '00 Speed Triple, I've not been the same since!

Emailed Triumph UK, answer was too early to say who is taken over.
I convinced its crescents but that is my opinion.

My dad used to live around the corner from them. I remember popping in to have a look around. All I remember seeing at the time were Guzzis. Probably 20 odd years ago...

Back in 1998 I bought from them a Moto Guzzi sport corsa 1100, and I've still got her.

Yep...totally gutted that a Triumph indie like 3X are going under...probably be swallowed by another faceless chain...always got on really well with the guys there and bought both of my Speedys from them.....they really went the extra mile when I had 'issues' with my new RS last year and definitely made you feel like a valued customer....most of my biking chums are equally p£ssed off too.

When on tour on the south coast I had some problems with my thunderbird lt (it was making a squeaking noise when moving it around). Popped in to see if they could help identify what was going on. They did have a look at the bike and said they didn't think there were any problems, likely that the belt needed some lubrication. No charge, reasonable bunch.
