Hi to all you clever people out there:wink: I need help and advice again please. my speedo on my adventurer has stopped working and before I start taking bits apart any idea's as to any common faults, ie, cable or speedo drive or speedo itself, many thanks
Start by looking at the cable first. might also be worth while looking at the drive off of the front wheel as well. Not heard of any issues with these, There were problems with the rev counters on the T300 Speed Triples but not heard about problems on your model. Cheers Steve
Many thanks steve I had a idea it might be cable or speedo drive, I would say its unlikely to be the speedo itself but problem is I am ex pat brummie now living in bog trotter land ( Ireland ) and unless you drive a tractor its a nightmare getting any car/bike spares unless you pay extortionate postage from uk, could be worse though I could still be in Birmingham innit !!!!:upyeah:
