I'm thinking of replacing the standard silencer on my '04 955 Speed Triple and quite like the look of a couple of cans that SP Engineering do, has anyone got an SP Engineering can on their bike? What is the quality like and how loud is it, I am looking for something louder than standard but not overly loud.

    Thanks

    Brian.

I've got a low can on my '12 Speed.
Been on for the last 12000 miles or so and no complaints from me.
Quality is good, and service is excellent, after I buggered up some of the clamps(my fault).

I run mine with the baffle in and it gives a nice deep growl.I did run it without for a while and it pops a bit on the over run but I found it a bit much so put it back in.
It say's you don't need a re map but I had mine done and it's better for it.

Hi Roadrider, that looks nice, the "stubby" is one of the two I was thinking of but it looks better on yours than it does on the older 955 models from the pictures I've seen on SPs website. The link pipe on the 955 one is quite long so the can sits further back on the bike and it doesn't sweep up as much as yours, if it looked like yours I'd order one tomorrow but I'm in no rush so will have a look around and see what else is available. Thanks for the info.
