Hi folks Looking for a new bike jacket, got a couple but as ride a lot and ones getting "tired". Like to have a couple so one can dry out fully if get very wet, keeps the damp "pong" down. So in short i have tried a few jackets on but found as I need a XL (chest obviously, OK maybe a bit my belly) but the arms far to long, even when reaching forward on the bike. Having to look at mail order (as all shops closed and cant try on) so does anyone have any recommendations for jackets with short arms. Looking medium end of budget, say upto £600. Thanks Gothmog
Sadly if you are like the rest of us and in need of one of these, they aren’t made with short arms...
Might be worth looking at Bering, as they make jackets in a range of shapes/fittings, one of which is "king". These are sized for, how can I put it, a more relaxed body shape, so you don't have to buy a 7XL to go round you only to discover that you need the arms of an orangutan. What stopped me buying was that the trousers (which they no longer seem to sell) were ridiculously long in the leg, so I would have needed about 8 inch longer legs to fit - the knee armour would protect my ankles!
