Just started watching series 2 of Fortitude. Found the 1st series a little slow going, but stuck with it. The new series get straight into it! Bostin.
Not a series but I can imagine what I would like to happen in the next episode. Enjoy. https://player.vimeo.com/video/5746...it=0&color=d30000&api=1&player_id=media-playe
A series I can thoroughly recommend is The Americans, about a married couple who are Soviet agents in Cold War era USA. It's as much a drama about the marriage and the effects on their kids as it is about spying. Series 4 so far, two more to go.
I've watched four or five episodes on TV of a weekly series TABOO quite dark and secretive, looking forward to more !!!
I watched Westworld which was ok. Gave up on Fortitude after one series as just got daft. After watching Ride with Norman Reedus decided to try Walking Dead and am pretty hooked. Watched 3 series in a couple of weeks. Interest has tailed off slightly but hopefully will improve again....
Last part next week, been good. Shall miss the fact that someone bothered to put decent TV on on a Saturday!! Instead of talent show and celebrity bollox shite.
After reading much about it on here, I've obtained seasons one to six of Game of Thrones and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I'm up to episode 8 of season 2 so far. How any seasons have been made so far ?
I love a good box set, and can confirm The Americans is a good watch. Not too fast paced, but there's enough set plays to keep it interesting. But I like it for conflict of being a spy and married with kids, and trying to keep up the fake normal life. Also the fact that it's set during the cold war keeps the setting interesting too. Refreshing to watch how the FBI used to do things compared to shows like 24 etc. Seasons 1-3 currently on Amazon Prime.
Six. One more season to go, covering the final book (not yet written, lol) in13 episodes split over two mini seasons I read. It's said that funding* meant season six and the final season are shorter than ideal, but that said the books are a tad bloated. Peter Drinklater as the Tyrian, the dwarf, is outstanding. Overall it's up there with the best TV shows. *the CGI alone cost damn near the budget of a normal series.
Thumbs up for Quarry 8 episodes watched over 2 nights, brilliant! Vietnam veteran coping with hardship on his return home.
