on the first day we did a shortened version of the run I'd planned as the rain got heavier and it wasn't much fun..so when me and Andy got back to the hotel we decided to go to the pub and have a Liquid dinner as Andy put it:)

nice one Andy, I've got the run from Tyndrum to Pitlochry but not started to edit it yet..although for some reason there wasn't any sound from the Mic i had under my seat which is annoying

Quality mate. Proper sound track too ;)

Is your camera fixed to the bike or helmet? Bike I'm thinking.

The problem I find with helmet mount is the wind noise on the microphone, so I'm thinking of mounting on the front of the bike with the mic run under the seat if the lead will reach.

If you run the mic into the helmet you can remove a wedge of wind noise even at speed (especially if you also use a cheap deadcat on the mic! :)

Doesn't have enough effect I'm afraid. I've tried all locations, inside and outside, at the back, with and without dead cat..

Alternatively ride slower to cut down the wind noise. Anyway, I tried putting one of the cameras on the bike today and routed the mic under the seat. I'll see if that has had any effect.

Mic under the seat sounds almost as bad. I'll try dialing down the sensitivity, but I'm beginning to suspect a connection problem with the mic socket on my Drift 4k. If no improvement I'll send it back for investigation and repair.
