Hmmm. Bought my compressor from Aldi to dry my bike, as well as other uses, but find it doesn't really work that well, maybe I should have bought one of these, do they pump tyres up as well?

Vacuum-Extraction-Unit-A.jpg Aldi are selling a workzone vacuum/blower on Thursday for £59.99,has anybody had any experience and opinions on these could be used as bike dryer and vacuum for garage, rather than getting my dome burst by Mrs for using house vacuum in garage, specs are 1250 watt motor air capacity 120 m3 per hr is this suffecient to use to dry bike is the big question ? .

Screwfix do a 1300w titan wet n dry for £34.99. Pet dryers are 2800w so I'm guessing are more powerful but at that price it's a no brainer for the garage.

Been and picked up the titan from screwfix and it's not to bad. Hose is push fit to the body no threads anyware so it's definitely made cheap. Suction is ample for the garage and having used a mates £100 bike dryer in the past I don't think this is far off. Considering this sucks wet n dry, blows and is £65 cheaper it's not a bad trade off If your not bothered about it not blowing hot air.

sounds like a decent enough product taking price into consideration, have you used it to dry the bike and assuming its even half decent doing that job (not bothered about no hot air) i will pop in next week and buy one cheers.

Not yet but it's definitely strong enough to move standing water and dry calipers, radiators ect. It may just take aliitle longer without heat.

A bunch of grown men talking about getting pink machines 'hot' and then letting them blow and suck. Am I on the wrong forum? :worried::worried::worried: Next thing I know, you'll be talking about top boxes and portaloos. :)

Err, quite possibly Hack Driver, I think I might suggest to admin that Top Boxes get sent to the 'dark web' where they belong as for portaloos only an idiot would talk about them on a bike forum .... Oh dear ... TAXI!

Thought I'd discovered something new after running out of compressed air very quickly. I'd seen a black one being used online somewhere which was around £120 I think.

Got this less pink one from Amazon for £60. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amzdeal-Stepless-Professional-Grooming-Extension/dp/B076MM2V9L

Have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. The hose gets longer when it's on and it's pretty windy. The heat shield handle thing seems a good idea. Just got to clean the bike now.
