Welcome Mel from NW NJ (Sussex County)! Lots of experience and tech knowledge here. As said, watch yourself on the busy streets there. I can easily head North, West and South, and proceed easily on country roads! I've also used a trailer and pickup (with a ramp) to comfortably carry the bike to NC/TN and Vermont for some of my favorite riding places! Good luck with the Bonnie!

I had crash bars, bags and a "fly screen" put on my Speed Master, and hit the twisties! Now it's hot ,except when it's raining.....Be safe, and enjoy!!! The Mad Mongoose...OUT!
