    Hi
Newbie from Newcastle UK. Recently got back into bikes after a 42 year break ! Got a Street Scrambler, my pride and joy. Always dreamt of owning a Triumph since the 70s. Love to tinker and mod bikes, that's half the fun. Looking forward to reading what other members have done. 20230531_125205.jpg

Welcome to the family. Nice bike. Thanks for sharing the picture. Yes tinkering is what makes the Triumph world go round.

    Welcome Mike.
A couple of years ago on the way back from Scottyland I decided to take the alternative cross country route towards Newcastle rather than the normal A1 or M6 options.
There's some nice riding roads around there. As I was freewheeling it a bit (ie somewhat lost as to precise position) heading South Eastish from Jedbrough I'm not sure I could repeat it though.

As we live on a small island you just have to ride for an hour or so before you hit something recognisable (eg Atlantic). I wasn't in so much of a hurry until the heavens opened around Leeds. It didn't stop until West London...

Only ever been in Newcastle town once, in the nineties. I just remember gangs of girls and lads shouting at each other from either side of the street on a Friday night.
