Morning all Well im tempted to trade in my yamaha xt660x for a 1050 Ive had a triumph before 675 daytona masterbike addition Im based in the uk - near east mids airport My xt is a 2004 model and done less than 11k its been lavished with all top end imported parts nothing ebay Question - can the later model 1050's have a headlight swop to the bug eye lights ? , in my opinion the bug eye looks better !!

Like i said not a triumph owner as yet but seriously considering a 1050 speed triple , curious to no if the newer versions can have the headlights swapped to bug eye ? Seems you can buy a 2015 bike with similar mileage to a 2009 bug eye for about same money , but i really like the bug eye lights lol

I think it could possibly be done but it's not going to be simple? Headlight bracket/ frame would change? Wiring too? Speedo relocated/changed also? Might be worth finding one in a shop and going there to see whats involved (take a notepad!)
I was hopefully thinking that it was just lights out lights in , so to spk Dont really want to go chopping into wiring looms etc
Gazzad76 Welcome to the family. No you can't just swap. But as you know you can do anything but not worth the extra work involved. Get the street triple easier to swap over. Joe.
6ft3 n 18stone the street triple feels small , not sure if thats just my mind playing tricks ?? Sat on both owned a daytona 675 masterbike n got rid of it as couldnt ride it for over an hr as it propper knackered up my wrists and knees lol
Rocket - very nice best mates got one , but not for me Tiger - again same mate lol I just really like the speed triple Anybody want to buy a well sorted xt660x - low mileage n full of goodies - let me no pics etc all available n im not after daft money
