Hi, Newbie from Wiltshire here. I am in the middle of buying a 2011 Speed Tripple R, having been away from riding for a few years. I've been through the usual CBR, VTR, SP1, R1 (Twice, the first was stolen after 4 days) but really wanted to get back to the naked bikes I enjoyed most. I looked at the CB1000R, Z1000 (New and old) and thought about looking at the BMW S1000R, but I kept getting this niggling thought that I really wanted a Speed Tripple. I always wanted one, even from the first version. I went in to Blades in Swindon, telling the War Department I was only going to have a look....... I had a good chat with Steve about the bikes, the different models and new vs old etc, when he thn showed me the sort of thing I might find second hand.... So I put a deposit down. I hope to move back into the house from the shed within the next few weeks.
Welcome to the Forum Takson. I don't have any issues with being moved out to the shed as it has been filled up with bikes so there is no room left to sleep there :wink: Might be the way foward for you ..... maybe
