Don't have a Street Triple yet but we're looking!
I know I can get this answered at the dealer but you all look like you needed something to do!
My wife has been off of a bike for four - five years while going back to school for her Phd.
She had a BMW F800S that I converted to a roadster (then BMW came out with the F800R a year later!).
Anyway...I've had her sit on the Street T but she's yet to ride one (little wet and chilly in San Diego right now).
    To the POINT!
When you switch the bike to Rain Mode... will it stay in Rain Mode, or does it default back to Road Mode when you turn the key off and back on again?
    Thanks!

Welcome Clutch. Not much help I know and can’t say for certain on the new Triumphs as I’ve not had one with riding modes but my GSXR stayed in the mode it was in when turned off.
    Told you I wasn’t much help! ;)

Hi clutch, welcome. I lived in SD for 3 years back in the 90’s, great place. Nearly perfect year round riding weather even if I did only have a Suzuki GS 425. :worried:
Often stopped of at Torrey pines to view the paragliders and the sights below on Blacks beach. ;)
BTW I have no idea about the rider modes sorry!
Someone will be along before to long with the answer.

Agreed, but it won't be me. The only rider mode I have is me right hand on the twistgrip which seems to suit me just fine. This will, I assume, make me some kind of a smartarse and nobody likes them. SIGH!:(
Anyway, welcome, Clutch. Enjoy this home of deviants, weirdos and loonies.:scream:

So I did a test on my speed twin today cause I have never paid attention to see if it stayed in the last selected mode. But the speed twin does stay in the last selected mode. Not sure if this is true to all newer triumphs or just the speed twin, but yeah, there ya go.

I’ve a uk Speed Triple, and it stays in whatever mode was used last. As previously stated, US models may be different, but I wouldn’t have thought so as it’s a safety feature!!

Hi Mate and Welcome to the Forum  I am pretty sure it will stay in rain mode, it only defaults back to road from a race or rider setting, this is because these settings take off elements of traction control.
