was wondering if I could find out where my Triumph went from the factory and any owners . I know by the frame and engine number it was built in June 72 and registered in Cumberland in July 72 but that is it Anyone have any info? Thanks
A dating certificate from one of the main Triumph groups or classic bike groups will give you the build date and dealer it was sent to and the log book as you say gives the date of reg and that's about it sadly.
I have found something on a Triumph website that says you can request a V888 form from the DVLA and they are obliged to give you info on previous owners etc. Might try this
