180/190bhp out of a 2.5lt engine? The BMW S1000RR 2019 model makes 207bhp from 1ltr... The Rocket isn’t highly tuned in comparison but I’d expect the torque to be quite something - probably easily burn off a Porsche at the lights on the Rocket pulling away in 6th gear.... Just thinking about the BMW... Tigger has 95? bhp from 800cc - it goes plenty quick enough for me. The S1000RR is insane 0-60 2.6 seconds - ur pulling slightly more than 1G accelerating! To be fair, the rocket III in a straight line isn’t that much of a slouch either 0-60 in 3.3sec! Just avoid corners as the bike (and caravan ur towing) might not make it around the bends...
I’m hoping that a good few will be traded in for new ones By the time that starts happening I will have a good long think about it and see if I can make it happen
In my local dealer today it was suggested that nothing likely until Christmas or early in the new year. They will be on display at the NEC in November. Reckon there will be loads of interest!
