Thanks man. Yes, it is sadly too clean for the shit weather/roads and the gritters have been out many times here. It was 4 below yesterday morning and I went out a run when the roads kinda thawed. Went into a car park today and it was like a skating rink. Hardly bike weather
Haha. Yes I have noticed you're well into the minus' up there! We're getting that way but not too bad.
Nice bikes the xjr, there's a bloke up in Preston area who specialises in them both full bikes and parts. Look for green heart on eBay. The XJR will hold its value as the fan base is wide. All the best - no Torvill and Dean on car parks.
Hi! Just found this thread... The stablemate of my Bonnie also is an XJR1300. I really like to swap the 4cyl against the parallel-twin. Both are fascinating and still completely different in their behavior.
Thanks JTD! They just stopped selling them now over here due to the EUR4 regulations Guess now it is a confirmed classic
Funny you should mention that. That's what I think. Total opposites but I find although the twin in the Triumph lacks the urgency and manners of the yam it's more of an event to ride.
I done a job yesterday and after parking and walking through the carpark I saw one of these, happened to be the lad I was instructing on a 7tonne forklift, was mint just like yours, beautiful bike bud.
