I see so many mega low mileage second hand bikes for sale, just wondered how many miles forum members clock up each year on two wheels, I'm guessing PJT could take the high mileage prize??
Me I did 8000 miles on my Tiger 800XC

I've done 14,000 on my Speed in the last 2 1/2 years.
Did 13,000 in just over 2 years on my old Speed and 9,000 on my Street in about 18 months.
I normally do about 6000 a year but it's been a bit lower for the last couple of years

14k in 18 months until October last year on the America and 17.5k in the previous 2.5 years on my Tiger. 60k in 10 years on my GS.

A lot of that was riding up to Essex to see my Dad twice a week with a 2000 mile tour every year but since he died at the end of September I've hardly ridden at all.

I don't expect to do any big miles this year apart from my 3 week France/Switzerland jaunt in June but you never know .....

I only bought my bike in April last year. It was 3 years old and had done 3,600 miles. I put another 2000 in 3 months its up to 6000 now but I will not really use it in the winter as I use it mainly for recreational purposes and not commuting or touring. I am getting tempted to buy another tho' Sssh! don't tell Mrs Crispey!!

I should keep quiet here but......Took my 900 for an MOT a few years back & i left it at the shop & nipped out with the missis to get some brekky. Back at the shop 30 mins later to see the Daytona outside. When i asked if the bike was done/ has it passed??....the service guy said "You do realise this bike has only done 17 MILES since last year" with a chuckle.

Yes i am ashamed.......to add my house was 6miles one way from the shop!!!:upyeah:

I've checked my diaries for the last couple of years. Mileage as follows:- 1892 miles done in January. 26455 miles done in 2014.(3760 European tour last summer). 29164 miles done in 2013. When I was working I was clocking up 600 miles per week. Great fun this motorcycling lark:upyeah:.

I thought you would be the top mileage guy on the forum, well done. Think I need to pack in work. but that's not going to happen for another 10 years or so!

Not done many miles yet on my 04 Speed Triple SE I only bought it in November with less than 12000 miles on it. But I have an 08 Aprilia Tuono 1000R Daytona SE and an 07 Kawasaki Versys 650 bought specifically for riding in winter. I don't go touring but I am out every weekend and some evenings in the summer, between them I did 16000 miles in 2012, about the same again 2013 and 15500 last year. The Kawa now has 40000 miles on it and the Aprilia 30000 - and still looks mint, looking forward to getting some miles in on the Triumph.

Not enough over the last couple of years! My '95 Trident has done 48,600 miles since I got it new. Been all over on it - Scotland and Wales several times, France (via Belgium on one occasion) half a dozen or so times (Auvergne, Jura with forays into Switzerland, Marne Valley/Champagne region, Normandy and Brittany) plus anywhere else in the UK that will have us!!:p Had a 2002 Daytona 955i Centennial for the last 14 years until I had to sell it (DVLA are very sniffy when HGV drivers develop heart problems!:(). So not a lot of useage recently. Ah well, another year beckons!

Before I got my car driving license I used to cover about 7k miles a year in all weather. The last few years it's been more like 2k as I'm sorry to admit that I've gone soft.

Previously my mileage was always around 7 or 8 thou a year on jap sportsbikes , the two yrs I had my 999 Ducati , the mileage dropped to about 4-5 thousand annually , mainly because it either wouldn't start , something had fallen off or my wrists had swollen up from riding it again . However , since I've had my Triumph , I can't keep off it & I've already covered 6 thousand miles since I bought it in Sept , so I think my annual mileage could be going up to around 10k at this rate . I definitely need another one to share the mileage , I'm worried about wearing it out lol

I've been doing around 4k per year for the last 3 years. Mostly longish day runs in the Scottish highlands. :)
