Just a quick word to say hello, as, just about to pick up my 2008 'America' after part ex'ing my 2014 MT09 (gotta slow down a bit now i'm 60 so they say). Still got my Thundercat that i use on a daily basis, so, haven't given up on all the speed just yet. I used to have a 2010 Daytona 675SE before the MT but that was a bit radical for my old bones. I used to be a Telegram boy in my youth(does anybody still remember telegrams?) and came back to biking about 15 years ago. Hoping to pick brains and find like-minded souls on here.

Sorry, not black but the best colour scheme of blue and white. Can't pick it up until thursday and then it will need a good clean again so maybe pictures in a week or so. And, Thanks for the welcome

Welcome, Bingo. Just be aware though that there are several factions hereabouts, the main ones are the 'blackists' (which you have already met), the 'blueists and the 'topboxists'. Sometimes they get really quite excited and Nursey has dart them with extra meds, but usually they are fairly well behaved. Enjoy.

Thanks everybody for the welcome and, yes , blue is the best colour but if someone could invent a magnetic topbox so i could fetch my fish and chips but take it off easily for the rest of the time, i'm in.
